Hello Digital Digital Doggy community! Happy Friday! We’ve made it to the end of the week and we’ve got just the thing to kickstart your weekend off just the right way.
In an odd little case on everyone’s favorite courtroom show, Judge Judy, a couple accused a woman of stealing his dog. The pup in question is an adorable puppy with snow-white fur and a tail that just can’t seem to stop wagging. But the question remained… who was its rightful owner?
The defendant stated that she had bought the dog off of a woman in the street for $50, and that the pet was for her mother. However, the couple disagreed, and in a heated debate, Judge Judy asked that the dog be brought out into court. The pup immediately bolted to its rightful owner, its tail wagging furiously. Speaking of reunions, have you heard of the miracle reunion of Kami the American Bulldog and her family? Well, back in June, in Fareham, UK, a dog was found in a Hampshire charity car park. The pup was super unwell, with an infection in her ears and a whole host of other illnesses. Among them were mammary tumors, which can be life threatening to a pup, and Kami was fighting for her life after so much neglect.
The staff at the car park handed the pup over to the Ark Animal center, and they decided to check to see if the pup had a microchip. Using the information on the microchip, the staff were able to find details about the dog’s family reached out to the pup’s owners. The response they got from the family was shocking.
The family was frantic, and stated that Kami had been stolen from them two years earlier. Yes, you heard us right.
We can’t imagine what it must have been like to have a piece of your family missing for two years, but we’re so happy that Kami was able to reunite with her family after all that time.
The staff at the animal center believe that Kami was stolen by breeders and left in the car park when she became sick and unwell. Once they found out that Kami had a loving family, they worked tirelessly to help her get better, removing the tumors (which luckily turned out to be benign) and helping her heal the infections in her ear. The lucky pup was able to make a full recovery as a result of the effort of the amazing staff at the Ark Animal center. On Tuesday, she was reunited with her original family, who showered her with love and affection, proving that miracles can truly happen.
The manager of the Ark Animal center, Stephanie Cziczo said: “She was always really affectionate dog anyway, but when she saw them she was bouncing all over the place.
Cue all of our hearts melting for Kami’s happy ending!
