If you’re anything like me, this is the first time you’ve ever heard of the Milk Bone’s Dogs Who Change the World. It’s an understatement to say this is a cute dedication to dogs. It’s more on the scale of pretty amazing and heart warming. So what is the Dog’s Who Change the World anyway?

Milk-Bone believes that dogs deserve a little extra pat on the back every year. Dogs do so much for humanity and the world; Milk Bone wanted to give back to these special pups. Each year, Milk Bone honors dogs who care for others and it’s called, Dogs Who Changed the World. Luckily for us, Milk Bone has teamed up with Canine Assistants to do more for the amazing dogs in the world. They’ve dedicated this event for the exceptional canines in the United States. Canine Assistants is a non-profit organization that trains and provides service dogs for those who have physical disabilities, seizure conditions or other special needs. All of the dogs are from Canine Assistants, too. How amazing is that?
Eggroll is a Golden Retreiver from Summit, New Jersey and loves her owner! Eggroll is a service dog for owner, Elizabeth Steller. Steller suffers from epilepsy but is put at ease by Eggroll’s assistance. The dog uses a special
system to call for help in emergencies. Eggroll is a lifesaver.
Axle is a Golden Retriever/Lab from Hasburb Heights, New Jersey. What makes Axle special is her devotion to helping children. She helps children practice reading, helps the sick and disabled and spreads love all over the world.
Piper is a Golden Retriever/ Lab from Spicewood, New Jersey. She’s special because she assists special needs children during their horseback riding lessons. She also assists with children who have epilepsy.
Kitty is a Golden Retriever from Cypress, Texas. Kitty spends her days at the child abuse clinic at the Cook County Children’s Hospital with her owner. She comforts children who have gone through traumatic events or difficult situations. She also makes the entire hospital staff smile.
Elsa is a Golden Retriever from Houston, Texas. Elsa works with her owner at the Texas Children’s hospital to help kids feel better and worry less during treatment.
S’more is a Golden Doodle from Houston, Texas. S’more spends her days taking care of her owner and best friend, Nicholas Bullers. Bullers uses a wheelchair and S’more helps him feel confident and safe in it.
Leica is a Golden Retriever from Cincinnati, Ohio. Leica works as a child life specialist with her owner at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. She brings laughs and love to every child she encounters.
Chevy is a Golden Retriever also from Cincinnati, Ohio. She works at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital with Leica. They are two special pups.
Georgie is a Golden Doodle from Cincinnati, Ohio! Ohio must be a special place for special dogs! Georgie’s owner, Channing, suffers from epilepsy and Georgie brings her medicine or a phone in order to help her during a seizure. They also do community service in their spare time. Special pup and special human.
You guessed it! Hunter is a Golden Retriever from Kansas City, Missouri. Hunter is a therapy dog for the patients at Children’s Mercy Hospital. She works in the oncology department, where she’s needed most.
