Super Bowl LI is finally upon us. We’ll be stuffing our face with chips, slamming alcoholic beverages down our throats, carelessly watching gruesome tackles on the filed and the best part of all, obsessing over the commercials—especially the dog commercials. In honor of this year’s super bowl I have constructed a list of the best animal Super Bowl commercials of all time. Let’s take a look:

- Doritos | Cowboy Kid
Have you ever seen a child riding a giant mastiff like a bull? Have you ever seen a child do it for a bag of Doritos? Well, now you have in this commercial from 2014.
- Bud light | Here We Go Rescue Dog
This dog is effortlessly taught to grab beers for an entire party and he does top of the line work. The party is a huge success thanks to Bud light and the little beer delivery dog. They also mention shelter dogs throughout the entire commercial. Good job Bud Light.
- Budweiser | Lost Dog
Budweiser, thank you for this heart wrenchingly beautiful commercial. Every time this commercial plays expect to cry, because you will—every single time. The Budweiser, lost dog commercial came out in 2015 and was one of the few animal commercials that year (thank goodness). We love this commercial because it involves a puppy, Clydesdale horses and an epic, happy ending.
- Doritos | Pug Attack
This 2011 Super Bowl commercial is one to remember. The entire premise of the ad involves a human teasing a pug with a bag of Doritos and things do not end well—for the human. Nobody gets in the way of a pug and its food.
- Budweiser | Puppy Love
Here’s another installation of the Budweiser commercials that will make you cry happy tears and give you full body chills, again. In this ad from 2014, this adorable puppy and his Clydesdale friends refuse to be separated and they’ll do literally anything to be together.
- Android | Friends Furever
In this Android commercial, the unexplainable bond between two totally different species is shown through catchy tunes and beautiful clips. Watch out for the dog and the elephant and the Orangutan at the end. It’s unforgettable.
- Pets.com | Please Don’t Go
This 2000 Super Bowl ad, featuring a sock puppet dog and a montage of sad animals was a huge success. The commercial is a bit outdated but in the year 2000 this ad cost the company 1.2 million dollars. (Probably one of the reasons they went out of business.)
- Shock Collar | Doritos
Doritos is at it again in this ad from 2010. In this commercial, a cruel human with a Dorito’s chip taunts a lab with a bark collar on. In the end the human gets exactly what he deserves, Dorito-less and unable to speak. Oh, how the tables have turned.
