Montreal just passed a ban on all Pit Bulls and dog lovers everywhere are not happy about it.
The Canadian city’s new law loosely states that any Staffordshire Bull Terriers, American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers or any mix of these breeds are to be banned from the city. People across the globe are outraged and asking how they can help. Here’s what we can do:
Starting October 3rd, 2016 the Pit Bull ban will prevent anyone from adopting this particular breed (or anything close to it) from shelters across the ctity. Tell the city officials to stop what they’re doing now.

The bottom line is, these dogs are being discriminated against because of breed specific reasons. Dogs are violent because of learned behavior or past trauma. Pit Bulls are not born violent.
Do something now, before it’s too late.
