But…sometimes we have to say “NO!” or they’ll turn into spoiled little dog brats. Here’s when you should say “nuh-uh dawg”:
- If your dog growls or nips at someone
Come on! If you don’t discipline your dog after something like this, you’re doing everything wrong. Stop, Drop and tell your dog no! It’s never okay to allow your dog to do anything like this.
- Poop or peed in someone else’s home
They might be marking their territory but it’s still not okay, ever. Got me?
- If your dog ruined your home
I know the guilty dog face is adorable but they teach them a lesson and tell them no! They’ll live and they’ll learn.
- Attacks another dog
This is dangerous and just mean! Don’t ever let your dog be a bully! Teach him how to be kind and polite around new friends!
- Humps your friends
It might be funny to you but probably not so much to your friends. It’s weird and annoying and your friends are most likely uncomfortable disciplining your dog. Do it for them then move on.
- Being a brat
Nobody liked a spoiled kid.
Don’t be the parent with the spoiled dog. Teach it manners, social skills, life lessons, etc. Good dog!
